Time to kick ass!

Hot news: two brand new interns that will strengthen the creative brigade at \BOVIL for the next six months. Meet Yara Schroder and Sam Verhagen. Yara is 18 years young and is – in her own word – a very happy egg 🙂 Lives in Veldhoven and studies at Sint Lucas in Boxtel.

Yara’s goal at \BOVIL? Learn a lot about editing videos, to master InDesign and develop her 3D Max skills.

Sam – enjoys snowboarding, travelling, mountain biking and getting out with friends – is 19 years old, comes from Hooge Mierde and studies Design at de Rooi Pannen in Tilburg. Sam has decided to master his design skills, as well as expanding his design knowledge and interests at \BOVIL. Well, for both that will certainly work out! Yara and Sam, we’re glad you’re here. At full strength!

Our account team is at full strength again. We already welcomed Natasja Thaels  as new colleague, and now  also Sandra van Haaren joined the team.

Natasja (mother of 2 little girls of 6,5 and almost 4 years old, fanatic X-box player, runner and enjoyer of the good things in life) lives in Best and has a lot of experience in the advertising and communication world with various agencies in Eindhoven and surroundings. She loves the dynamics at an agency and kicks on ‘structured chaos’ which is often around.  She also loves sparring with different types of clients and is eager to advise them in the right way to get the best result with the team.

Sandra  (interior/design/wine enthusiast, power-yoga-on-pop-up-locations-lady and also loving the good things in life) lives in Den Bosch. With broad experience – both strategic and project based – on the media agency side in Amsterdam, her interest in how to get people and brands connected and her knowledge of effective communication, we know for sure that she will stand her ground here at \BOVIL.

We are very happy with the arrival of these two account ladies and wish them lots of success!

Now, after developing the winning concept, Valvoline is ready to make an impact on the European market together with \BOVIL as their partner. And, as specialists in heavy duty lubricants since 1866, they know the business. They have a drive for excellence combined with a down to earth attitude. No bullshit, just straight forward working-class heroes. Whether in transport, construction, agriculture, marine or mining, Valvoline is the brand you need for heavy duty machinery.

The development of the campaign has already begun and its introduction is set for the beginning of 2018. Watch this space for results!

Fullservice in retail

Worldpack has built up a reputation as a manufacturer of packaging materials for the retail world and has created products for large, small, domestic and international customers. In recent years, they have been transformed from ‘bags manufacturer’ to a full service partner to the retail world. This transition has resulted in the need to take a new look at the current positioning and the way the Worldpack brand is recognized inside the company.In addition to developing the new positioning and visual identity, \BOVIL is developing a series of internal branding and a social media campaigns.

Time to move together!

After an extensive international pitch, VDL Bus & Coach has selected \BOVIL as their new International advertising agency. The choice was made after several rounds and a convincing combination of strategy and creative work. The goal for us as a new agency? to reposition the VDL Bus & Coach brand in a way that ensures they are ready for the future and their distinctive approach to the future of mobility is expressed coherently. A great challenge, not least because as a transportation frontrunner they are the largest supplier of E-mobility to public transport in Europe.

VDL Bus & Coach is the only part of the parent VDL group that is positioned as an independent brand. Cooperation has already begun with the repositioning, after which a long-term roadmap will be developed incorporating key milestones.

In parallel to this, we have been busy with the development and production of various E-mobility movies in the Benelux. These are in preparation of the largest bus & coach exhibition in the world: Busworld in Kortrijk, Belgium.

Brabantia wins the Dutch design Award 2016

At the end of the Dutch Design Week the prices for the Dutch design Award have been awarded. Out of 3 nominees (Brabantia, Transavia, Multi Tank Card) Brabantia has been chosen as winner in the category ‘Best Client’. A fantastic achievement and all credits to a client who enables different agencies to perform real co-makership.

The jury:
The brand has undergone a transformation, both at product level, and in the firm’s communications (online and offline), without sacrificing quality. And there’s no question that the rebranding is a commercial success, thanks to the careful selection of designers and design agencies by CEO Tijn van Elderen and the value director (Brand, Marketing & Product Innovation) Mechteld Petersen. An outstanding example of the excellent commissioning of design.
